600 grams of ground beef
1 egg
4 hamburger buns
8 slices of cheddar cheese
2 slices of Edam cheese


As the name suggests, this cheeseburger is all about the cheese! This recipe makes two portions. Start by frying your ground beef to give it that special touch of homemade goodness. I recommend seasoning it with a bit of garlic and pepper for that extra flavor. Shape the beef into patties, and make them slightly larger than your burger buns as they will shrink during cooking. Dip each patty into beaten egg and fry them until golden brown on both sides, approximately 15 minutes.

While the beef is cooking, let’s prepare the base of our burger. On each bun, place two slices of cheddar cheese and one slice of Edam cheese. To enhance the flavor of the onion, sauté it lightly in a pan with a small amount of oil. Once ready, place the seasoned onion on top of the cheese.

By this time, your beef should be cooked to perfection. Lay the patties on top of the onion and add the remaining two slices of cheese to each burger. To achieve that melty goodness, pop the burgers in the microwave for 1 minute. Voila! Your cheeseburger is now ready – simply delicious!
