Ingredients :
• 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tail-on optional)
• 3 tbsp unsalted butter
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• Juice of 1/2 lemon (plus wedges for serving)
• 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
• Optional: 1 tbsp olive oil (if you want to sear with butter)
Instructions:
1. Prep the Shrimp
• Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.
• Season lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Sauté Garlic
• Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
• Add butter (and a little olive oil if using).
• Once melted, add garlic and red pepper flakes.
• Cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t brown the garlic!).
3. Cook the Shrimp
• Add shrimp in a single layer.
• Cook 1.5–2 minutes per side, until they turn pink and opaque.
4. Finish with Lemon & Herbs
• Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp.
• Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
• Toss everything gently to coat.
