Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
Zest of 1 orange
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
3. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
4. While the wings are baking, combine the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 10 minutes.
5. Once the wings are done, toss them in the sauce and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
