Hot Honey Sweet Chili BBQ Wings

To season wings:

1 lb of chicken wings
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon chicken seasoning or poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Chipotle powder or cajun seasoning
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Heinz 57 sauce
Kosher Salt and pepper to taste

For Sauce:

1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp Franks Red Hot or your favorite hot sauce
1/3 cup of chicken stock to loosen sauce as needed, I like my sauce to be more of a glaze

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help crisp up the chicken wings.
Wash and pat dry the chicken wings. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
Drizzle olive oil over the wings and sprinkle with seasonings listed plus Worcestershire sauce and Heinz 57
Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
While the wings are baking, it's time to prepare the flavorful sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the butter, hot sauce, barbecue sauce, honey, and sweet chili sauce. Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Add chicken stock as needed to make the consistency looser. Remove from heat.
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven. Place the baked wings in a large mixing bowl and pour the hot honey sweet chili BBQ sauce over them. Toss the wings gently to coat them evenly with the sauce.
Return the sauced wings to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. This step allows the sauce to caramelize and adhere to the wings, creating that irresistible glaze.
Transfer the hot honey sweet chili BBQ wings to a serving platter and enjoy!
